Day 1 - Arrival in Lhasa [3680m]
You will be greeted by our local guide and driver,transfer to hotel and relax.

Day 2 - In the morning visit the Potala Palace, the greatest monumental structure in all of Tibet. The Potala is 13 stories high and holds countless treasures and many rooms. Built in 637AD, the Potala has been home to the HH Dalai Lama lineage for more than a thousand years. Afterwards visit Jokhang temple, the holiest temple in all of Tibet. From the rooftop you will see pilgrims from all over Tibet prostrating in front of the Jowo Buddha statue inside the temple. Afterwards walk through the Barkor which is the most popular market and sacred walk for all Tibetans. Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 3 - visit Drepung, one of the three most famous monasteries in Lhasa. Once home to as many as 10,000 monks. Afterwards visit Sera monastery, where you can watch monks debate in the courtyard. Visiting Drepung and Sera monasteries will enhance your understanding about Tibetan Buddhism and its practices.

Day 4  - Lhasa-Tsurpu Monastery camping [4480m] 65km, approx 1.5hrs.
Drive from Lhasa to Tsurpu Monastery through Tibetan villages. Arrive at camp nearby the monastery. Visit Tsurpu monastery which was founded by Dusum Kyenpa, the first Karmspa, when he was 80 years old. Tsurpu monastery is the mother monastery of the Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 5 - Tsurpu Monastery-Leten [5000m] 11km, approx 3-4hrs.
We start the trek by heading west up the valley. Camp at Leten.

Day 6 - Leten-Bartso, 15km approx 6-7hrs.
In the morning we walk through the valley. We will pass Lasar la [5300m]. In the north we can see great views of a heavily glaciated peak enclosing the south side of the Yangpachen valley. We will stop along the way to take pictures of the glacier and yaks.  Camp at Bartso.

Day 7 - Bartso-Dorjeling Nunnery, 15km, approx 3-4 hrs.
Today you will see beautiful views of snowy and rocky mountains. Also you will have a great view of Nyenchen Tanglha [7111m]. Camp near Dorjeling Nunnery.

Day 8 - Dorjeling Nunnery-Yangpachen Hot Spring-Namtso Lake [4700m] 135km, approx 2.5hrs.
Most people take a car from Dorjeling nunnery as sometimes it is not permitted to walk between Dorjeling Nunnery and Yangpachen. On the way, stop at Yangpachen Hot Spring to bathe.  The drive then continues to Namtso Lake. Do not forget to take sunset pictures of the lake. Overnight in guest house at Namtso Lake.

Day 9 - Namtso-Lhasa [3680m] 250km, approx 4.5 hrs.
Early in the morning, take pictures of the sunrise and visit Tashi do Monastery. You will get amazing pictures of the sunset and the sunrise in Namtso Lake, so don't miss this opportunity. Continue drive to Lhasa. Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 10 - depart Tibet.
